Welcome back to The New Era Assist.

If you hand exactly one job to AI, make it email. Not because it is glamorous. Because of the math: email is a tax on every single day, and anything that eats a slice of every day is the first thing to delegate.

The setup has four steps, in order.

Triage first. Most inbox time is spent deciding what deserves a reply, and that decision is a pattern. An assistant sorts mail into a few plain buckets: needs you today, routine, waiting, noise. Your morning starts with a short stack instead of a wall.

Drafts second. The routine bucket is where the hours come back. Paste a couple dozen of your real sent emails into the tool, write down your rules, and let it draft while you edit. First week you edit most of them. Third week you send most untouched, because every edit taught it something.

Follow ups third. The most expensive emails are the ones you never send: the unchased quote, the quiet lead, the unnudged invoice. An assistant that watches for no reply and drafts the nudge does the remembering. You approve.

Autopilot last, and only for the safe slice. After hours acknowledgments, booking links, your five most common questions. One rule keeps it safe: when unsure, escalate to a human. Words like price or upset route straight to you.

After a month you open email twice a day instead of twenty times, and nothing warm goes cold. You did not get faster at email. You stopped doing most of it.
