Welcome back to The New Era Assist.

Every list of AI tools for small business has forty entries and half are sponsored. Here is the short version, organized by the only thing that matters: the job each tool does.

The thinking and writing job: Claude or ChatGPT. Pick one. If your work is mostly words and decisions, start with Claude. Whichever you choose, teach it your business with skill files instead of re explaining yourself every chat. That upgrade is free and it is the biggest one on the list.

The connecting job: Zapier or n8n. When a new lead should create a CRM record, a notification, and a follow up without you touching anything. Simple and few connections, Zapier. Complex or many, n8n.

The always on job: OpenClaw. If customers message you on WhatsApp or Telegram, an agent that answers around the clock in your voice wins the 9pm lead you currently lose.

The scheduling job: a booking link. Not fancy, kills the most wasteful email thread in business.

The trap to avoid is collecting subscriptions. Four tools, none mastered, is worse than one tool used daily. The sane path: month one, Claude plus a booking link. Month two, one automation for your most annoying handoff. Month three, the always on agent if your leads arrive by message.

The whole starter stack usually costs less than one nice dinner a month. That is the proof. The pitch is the output: one operator producing like a small team.

Full list with the reasoning is on the blog.

Want the stack picked and deployed for your business? No tool sold that you do not need.
