This one is a build story. I wanted the Iron Man experience for a small business: a screen that boots up in the morning, reads you a briefing out loud, and answers when you talk to it. So I built it.
Under the hood it is not science fiction. It is an AI agent with a face. The dashboard pulls the numbers and messages that matter, the agent turns them into a spoken briefing, and a microphone button means you can ask follow up questions like you would ask a person standing next to you.
What surprised me was not the tech. It was how much the format matters. The same information that sits ignored in eight browser tabs actually gets used when it arrives as one screen and a spoken summary. You start the day already knowing where you stand.
Three lessons from the build.
Voice output forces clarity. A briefing that sounds bloated when read out loud is bloated. Writing for the ear made every summary sharper.
The demo sells the idea better than any explanation. People do not lean in when I describe an agent. They lean in when the screen says good morning and starts talking.
The flashy part is the cheap part. The face took days. The plumbing underneath, the agent that gathers and summarizes, is the same engine behind every other build I ship.
